There are no videos about this suppressor/moderator/LDC. I've had this for a few months now, here's my take on it.

Hi, I'm planning on reloading the .308 Winchester with a 190 grain Hornady Sub-X bullet. I have 3 Vithavuori powders available: N120 - N135 - N540 I would like to get around 320 mt/sec. on the Benelli Lupo 1/10" rifle Where do you think we should start?
Out of those, 120. But I would try to find N110
Ok … grazie / thank you
Oh you know what, I was thinking 300 blackout. You don't want to use any of those powders for 308. Trail boss is your best bet if you can find it.
.300 BLK I have the CZ 600 Trail (1/7") rifle with which I reload the 190 Sub-X and Reload Swiss RS-30 Swiss powder with excellent results in subsonic with sound suppressor at 325 m/sec. For the .308 Winchester, however, I use the Italian Nobel Sport Vectan A1 powder in subsonic mode. However, I wanted to use Vithavuori powders. So nothing. When the RS-30 runs out, I consume the N120 on the .300 AAC Blackout
Trail Boss impossible to find in my area
I'm a cheap ass too...but I have two vises...one for metal, and one for wood that has wood screwed to the inside of the jaws...the wood won't mar up your parts...but you may have to check your tightness every few minutes...never had one come out on me, but always good to make sure a gas block doesn't pop out and dent your forehead...😂
20” barrel?
AFFIRM
Dang man that sucks! KAC ain’t cheap either. I’m finishing my build tomorrow with a level I ordered for Xmas (it’s the badger ordnance condition one ACD level). I’m hoping it’s as good as they say. It’s adjustable out of the box so I can adjust it to my rifle and secure it, it also has a space for me to insert tritium vials for night time and low light. I hope it’s good to go. The mount was 320, then I added an accessory mount and ring for a red dot (120 for the ARC, 40 for the ACRO mount), now 120 for their level. At 580 before taxes and shipping my mount is worth more than most people’s red dots alone. It better be good to go. This sucks.
Thanks for the video! Can you share what end cap material you chose? POM or aluminum? I have a Western Aigrun Sidewinder Compact and an AEA challenger Pro, both are bare barrel without any shroud, do you think I should get the high flow core?
Sounds like you might, but I would try and use the flow factor calculator to make sure. Defaulting to the high flow isn't always the quietest. With all that being said, I bet high flow is what you'll need.
@@BTOMF What shroud factor do you think I should plug in?
6
Hot fence wire works a lot better
Just got my arp my safety is really really hard to switch
The same Sarissa design in their Accipiter line should drop the POI a lot less since its much lighter than the standard Sarissa.
I just checked but they don't make a high flow core version for the Accipiter...sigh...Both my airguns are bare barrel without shrouds, I guess I have to go with the High instead Moderate...
How do you remove the bolt without a bolt release???? I did just the opposite and bought one without and wanted WITH 😑
Custom action comes with bolt release
I am having the opposite issue. Just built my AR9 Lower kit is BRAVO so not shitty components Safety selector is extremely loose HELP
Is it ambi?
Imagine having no idea how to swap a gas block, assuming it's easy AF, trying to figure out how to get a too-big roll pin through the too-small roll pin hole, sweating, cussing, crying.....then finding this FREAKING KING on the UA-cams! Bro this video is a panty dropper! Thank you!
Is it ment to Be a micro adjustement, but if it’s free floating up and down that wouldn’t make since
Impulse Air IA-1350 is in my mind the best in every way. I have sevearal rifles and this performs exact same on them all no matter how loud the unmoderated rifle is. All my tests are on .25 cal rifles.
Man your hand was shaking 😮
Never would have made it as a surgeon...
Mine came with a shade, it’s in the box under the big square cardboard flap on the left.
Agree, 100%
You mentioned a super 22-250, how’d you get there? Twist rate and all the rest. Also, how close to hearing safe is it while supressed?
Fast twist rate and more freebore to accomodate heavier bullets. Right when I was being it barreled, the 22 Creedmoor got SAAMI approved haha. As far as hearing safe, it's pretty damn quiet. I don't ever shoot without earpro anymore, but it's quiet enough to with that Magnus on the end of it.
@@BTOMF man, cool. I’m gonna get more into the cartridge. It would be fun supressed in an ar-10. I inherited a break action from my grandpa that’s fun to shoot too. My dream is to test it on fast running animals
Thank you!
Hahaha
I have a falx and a sarissa. Both are phenomenal. Impact mkii .25 80ft/lbs - 78db with Sarissa - 82db with the Falx. I’m curious how a Fox 600 over barrel would sound and work. I competed for the first time this year with the Sarissa. Shot a 220. It’s legit.
Too hard to hear you over that 1970’s Kmart music
Yea, I need my hearing aids too.
I watched this video and was interested. I emailed them 2 questions and they never responded. Yes, I checked the spam folder every day. It has been a week now.. not sure I want to purchase this brand if they cannot even answer an email.
They do take a while to answer. Every email I've sent they have responded to, but it takes a little bit.
@@BTOMF it's been 7 days. I'll give them until Tuesday and I'm purchasing a different brand. Thanks
I have no skin in the game, but what questions did you have? I might be able to help
@@BTOMF I know. I was just expressing my frustration and I appreciate you listening. To be honest I forgot my questions to them. They have that email contact us page where you have no copy of your conversation after you send it until they reply so I really don't remember everything that I asked them. If it comes to mind I'll hit you up and see what you think. Thank you!
I emailed once yesterday and today and got replies to each within half a day.
What tbac suppressor is that?
@@82SchoolBoy Ultra 9
@BTOMF sweet! I have a Fly9 now and I'm looking at the ultras or a Magnus
@82SchoolBoy I've got an Ultra 7, Ultra 9, and a Magnus. Magnus is the way to go
Which has a better image? Which has a bigger screen?
Nox has a better image but not by much. The ability to focus the objective end of the nox makes the difference.
Any decibel readings?
I intentionally didn't do decibel readings, don't have the proper equipment to do it justice
I used my iPhone to measure the Sarissa, 78db with an impact mkii 80ft/lbs. The iPhone app is more accurate and consistent than you would think. The Hill EC-1000 compressor manual states 85db at 3ft and that’s exactly what my iphone app measures. It’s so much quieter than the DonnyFL Sumo. Even the Falx is and the Falx is shorter than the Sumo.
What’s better as a handheld scanner to go with my NVGs? The Nox18 or the Nox35? Was thinking the 2x optical base mag might be nice…
Depends on your use case. For me, Nox35 is better bc of the distance I see. Nox18 gives a wider field of view if that's important to you.
Burnt and raw😂😂😂😂😂
I use a toothpick as slave pin to make sure the hole doesn’t get misaligned as I start punching
Blud blew up the piss bottle
Same combination bullet and powder is giving me the following on a 9" barrel. measured by Magneto Speed Sporter. 8.1 grain - 1020 1050 fps tested 10 bullets 8.3 grain - 1050 -1090 fps tested 10 bullets. all loads above 8.5 are super sonic 2.075 " cartridge length case length 1.360" those sub-x bullets vary slightly 190.40grain to 190.80 grains.
Have you had any issues with this trigger? I accidentally bought the one with bolt release too
It's been solid. No issues at all.
4 sexond
iin some videos the nox has the white and black, in another almost a blue hue but your video shows warm white. i really prefer the warm color it has in your video can you tell me first hand what the actual hue is when looking through it? thank you very much
I asked N-Vision about this when I first got it. They said they receive different display colors, some are blueish and some are yellowish. The video is about as close as you get to my display hue. With that being said, some people's eyes can't see any hue. When I asked around, at first I thought I had weird eyes based on everyone saying they couldn't see any hue.
I bought the same exact trigger so hey thanks for making this video it does look pretty straightforward and getting rid of the bolt release
Thank you for sharing, this was very helpful!
The 4 2 10 name was coined by Pitmaster X. Pitmaster X made a video of the cook because he was so impressed with this particular cooking method. But the strategy was developed by Steve Gow at Smoke Trails BBQ, and he didn't call it 4 2 10. And for the record, I don't like the name 4 2 10 because it's not really 4 2 10. The timing is dependent on the size of the brisket and some other things. You have to follow the procedure outlined by Steve Gow. It does work because I have done it half a dozen times and it's basically foolproof - provided you follow Steve Gow's strategy.
What is the distance? Sorry I must have missed it.
1100 yards
Bet money you replaced them bulbs in your tail lights shortly after this video lol. Also you need the special 6.5 creedmoor aka magnum bolt and firing pin for that rifle . The 6.5 has a higher case pressure and blows the primers back into the f.p that bends your f.p retainer and causes light strikes. Look at your primers that are going off.
Where’d you got the roll pin starter set?
Wheeler makes one for $18, or Amazon has one for $7.95
Bolt carrier group is backwards Dad…😂
I had to buy mine one of those bench mats that has the image blown up and in section!
Bcg is backwards 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He shouldn't be around a firearm 😮
That's a bit naive, he's only blown up 3 guns so far.
The guy in doors, about how far away from the scope was he? I know the 35 has minimum magnification of 3 something but was wondering how it would fair up real close as well.
He was about 10 ft away
much thanks!@@BTOMF
That was black piwder not tannerite....otherwise the camera man would be dead!
Camera man still kicking 😂
A good level is hard to find... I'm looking for a nice rail mounted level that has some good reviews (that brought me here), I may have to pay the price (MDT) to get a good one. I ordered a Starrett mini level to help with a scope install and it was trash right out of the box. If you can't trust a high end company like Starrett who can you trust?!?!
The big problem is the Chinese thermal cheap components.
You would think that amount of dip would give any man the strength and confidence to handle the recoil of any rife….. the solution…. ADD MORE DIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a collapsible stock dummy, use it!
Got some dip in that lip 🤣
